Chocolate Orange Doughnuts with Chocolate Ganache
1 @iyafoods chocolate orange bundt cake package
1 egg (room temperature)
1/3 cup vegetable oil
3/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 chocolate orange bar chopped
1 4oz chocolate bar of your choice
1/3 to 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream (amount of liquid is dependent on how thick you prefer the ganache)
Preheat oven to 350. Prepare / spray doughnut pan with nonstick baking spray and set aside.
Whisk all ingredients, except chopped chocolate bar, together in medium size bowl until smooth. Fold in chopped chocolate bar.
Fill each doughnut well about 3/4 of the way.
Place in oven for 9 to 11 mins until doughnuts look puffy and toothpick comes out with light crumb, or just barely clean.
Let cool in pan for 10 mins. Then remove doughnuts from pan, and place on wire rack to cool.
To make the ganache, chop chocolate bar and place in heat safe bowl.
Heat heavy cream in small sauce pan on stove on low. Do not let it boil, just bring to a light simmer.
Pour cream over chocolate and let sit for 2-3 mins to soften the chocolate
Slowly stir chocolate and cream until smooth and all chocolate is melted.
Once doughnuts are fully cool, spoon ganache over each one and enjoy!!
