Job Description:

Iya Foods is searching for a motivated team player to be the next Director of Sales and Marketing. You’ll be leading and building out our Sales & Marketing Team as we grow and expand into existing and new Categories. Your direct report will be with Toyin Kolawole the Founder & CEO. Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead overall aspects of the Iya Food’s Sales and Marketing functions
  • Execute competitive product and pricing strategies in key markets across multiple sales channels
  • Key role in expanding existing products and new products
  • Evaluate market data for market trends, innovation, pricing, competition, ingredient, and customer evolution
  • Develop, implement, and track customer acquisition, retention, satisfaction, and loyalty
  • Prepare, implement, and track sales and marketing, reports forecasts and budgets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for all regional and national targets
  • Lead sales efforts with customer prospects
  • Manage broker sales team
  • Work with CEO to implement strategies for expanding customer base 
  • Engage in hiring and mentoring of Sales team members

Job Qualifications and Skills

  • Entrepreneurial mindset i.e., enjoys identifying and closing opportunities
  • Result-oriented, proven KPIs, ability to work under pressure and lead others
  • Exceptional sales skills and ability create sales decks and lead sales pitches
  • Great written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
  • Must have strong excel and data analysis skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Able to travel 25% of the time when necessary. Events, Sales Meetings, etc.
  • Education and Experience Requirements
    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales or marketing
    • Team management experience

    Compensation Package

    • Total Compensation: Up to $150,000 Annually with completed KPIs
    • Health and Dental Insurance available
