This is a highly aromatic pepper with a spicy, zesty bite. Handpicked from the tropical farms of West Africa and dried to perfection, it instantly adds a crisp spicy flavor to dishes.

Popularly called Cameroon pepper, this yellow pepper variety is used in many African & French fusion dishes. It is VERY HOT so use with caution.

Uses: Enlivens any dish with its unique, flavorful taste. It is great for preparation of hot sauces, grilled meats, or veggies Use sparingly because its very hot!

One-Pot Pepper Chicken:

Ingredients:

  • 1 lbs chicken breasts cut into cubes
  • 1 cup chopped red bell peppers
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1 tsp ground African yellow pepper
  • 1 tsp ground garlic
  • cup EVOO oil
  • Salt to season

Instructions:

  1. Mix ground pepper, onions, garlic, salt and bell peppers in a bowl. Add the chicken and toss to fully coat. Place in the fridge to marinate for 30 minutes.
  2. In a medium pan, heat up oil then add chicken and pan cook till fully cooked
  3. Serve hot with Jollof rice, brown rice or quinoa
