Pot of Chicken Stew

Pot of Stew Recipe

Makes up to 8 servings

Ingredients:

  • One jar Iya Foods One-Pot Simmer Sauce Savory Chicken
  • One lbs. cooked or grilled chicken

Instructions:

1.In medium pot, combine cooked chicken and Iya Foods One Pot simmer sauce

2.Simmer for a few minutes

3.Taste for salt and add more if desired

Serve hot with rice, root vegetable or desired sides

Jollof Rice

Jollof Rice Pilaf Recipe
Makes about 3 servings:

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Cook rice for 15 - 20 mins or use a rice cooker
  2. Add about 8-10oz (about ½ jar) of Iya one-pot simmer sauce and with Jollof pilaf seasoning to cooked rice – stir and let simmer for a few mins
  3. Serve hot with vegetables and or desired protein such as chicken, steak or seafood

Nigerian Pepper-Soup

Wholesome Pepper-Soup Recipe
Makes about 4 servings


Ingredients:

  1. ¼ lbs beef (can swap with chicken, goat, lamb, seafood or vegan protein)
  2. 3 tsp Iya Foods pepper-soup seasoning
  3. One pinch Iya Foods Yellow Habaneros Ground 
  4. 4 cups water (can use beef, chicken or vegetable broth)
  5. 1 cup chopped onions 
  6. 2 cups fresh or frozen vegetables such as Kale or spinach
  7. 2 cups diced potatoes or yams
  8. ¼ cup diced peppers – any type you like
  9. 1 tsp sea salt

One Pot Garlic Chicken Potato Recipe -
Ingredients (4 Servings)

 

  • 2 tbsp. of butter or 3 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 chicken breasts or 6 chicken thighs
  • Medium sized chopped red or russet potatoes 
  • 2 tbsp. Iya Foods Garlic with Garlic Skin ground
  • ¼ to ½ tsp Iya Foods Ground Chili Pepper
  • ½ tsp chopped rosemary & oregano
