Piri-Piri Spicy Fish


  • 1 medium size whole fish (can use Tilapia, Snapper or even Cat Fish fillets or whole fish)
  • ¼ cup Iya Foods One-Pot Simmer Sauce (Savory Vegetable)
  • 2 tsp Iya Foods Peri-Peri Seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon Iya Foods Yellow Habanero Pepper Ground
  • 1 tsp Iya Foods Garlic with Garlic Skin Ground
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Salt to taste


  1. Make deep incisions in cleaned fish for marinade to seep in
  2. For Peri Marinade - Combine One-pot simmer sauce, garlic, salt , yellow habanero and lemon
  3. Rub a little over half the marinade all over the fish and into the incisions
  4. Preheat oven to 400 and grill for about 20 minutes or until almost fully cooked
  5. Rub remaining marinade all over grilled fish – let grill for 10 - 15 more minutes
  6. Garnish as desired, Serve hot
